Get a policy approved, published, and acknowledged
Your access policy needs to reflect a change in how the team works. Review the revised wording, publish the approved version, and assign employees their acknowledgement tasks.
Chapter 01
Explain the change before asking for approval.
Suppose your team has changed who approves production access. Create a new draft version of the existing policy and record why the wording needs to change. The approver sees that explanation beside the diff. You keep the policy's history instead of starting a second document called final-v2.

Chapter 02
Discuss the sentence that's causing the disagreement.
Send review links to the people you've selected. A reviewer can select the access-approval clause and request a change there. The author can acknowledge the request and resolve it when addressed. Feedback stays attached to the wording being questioned.
02 / Feedback · change requests anchored to policy text
Chapter 03
Finish the review of this version.
In this review workflow, every selected reviewer must approve the current version. If the policy needs another version while review is still open, resolve or withdraw that review first. This keeps the approval attached to the text the reviewers actually read.
03 / Approval · each selected reviewer signs off on this version
Chapter 04
Publish it, then collect acknowledgements.
Publish the approved policy to make it the official current version. When its assignment scope is all personnel, Sythe Labs creates acknowledgement tasks for organization members. A policy marked not applicable creates no tasks. Employees still need to complete assigned tasks; the publication date alone can't tell you who's acknowledged the policy.
04 / Publication · current policy and employee acknowledgement tasks
What you leave with
