Your next customer has a security review team
The product team wants to buy. Procurement needs to know how you handle their data. Prepare for the larger customer's review without claiming controls you haven't put in place.

Map the data your service receives, the people who can access it, and the providers involved in handling it. Have engineering check that account. The reviewer needs to judge the risk of this purchase; a generic claim that your company takes security seriously gives them little to assess.

Ask the reviewer which remaining gaps would prevent this use of your service. Record those gaps and assign owners before making commitments. If the proposed use doesn't require a formal report, don't assume a larger logo alone makes one necessary. Procurement still makes its own acceptance decision.
